Debut Runway Show
Washed Up at New Zealand Fashion Week
Five years in. Three years showing in Paris. A retail footprint that keeps growing. NZFW was the moment we brought it all home.
We've never been easy to categorise. Built between city and coast, our foundations are menswear, but always designed with flexibility. relaxed tailoring next to workwear, washed cottons and wool blends meeting leather.
We called the show WASHED UP, putting current and future pieces on the same runway, blurring the line between seasons on purpose.
The show opened on street noise, cut to black. Nick Cave built through the darkness before waves crashed across the LED screens, turning Shed 10 into a monochrome ocean. Steve Dunstan's mix moved through techno, Kim Gordon and Sonic Youth, closing on King Krule and Nirvana.
29 looks in muted earth tones, black, grey, washed red, orange and faded white. Utilitarian suiting, raw edges, built in belts, military stitching. Leather ran throughout, valued as much for how it wears in as how it holds up.

What started as a menswear brand quickly and naturally transcended into female wardrobes, says co-founder Dan Gosling. The clothes are designed to be worn by different people, in different ways.

We've never been chasing what's next. We build clothes meant to stay. Worn hard, washed, altered, lived in. Bought now, worn for years, found in a vintage store decades later, still relevant.
We've always lived in the space between the beach and the city.
The runway just brought that home.
